Planning Policy

Following the consultations on the Deposit LDP and Alternative Sites last winter, we have compiled a Consultation Report that contains the Council's responses to the representations that were received. The Report was endorsed by Council at its meeting on 22nd November 2012.

The Consultation Report is in four parts:

1. An introductory section that describes the consultation processes undertaken in the preparation of the LDP.

2. A Main Issues report that summarises the issues that have arisen as a result of the consultations, together  with the Council's response on these issues.

3. A register of all representations received on the Deposit LDP, listed in representor order, together with an individual Council response or an indication of where the representation is addressed in the Main Issues report.

4. A register of all representations received in response to the Alternative Sites consultation, listed in representor order together with an indication of where the representation is addressed in the Main Issues report.

Full copies of the representations can be accessed from the Deposit Plan and Alternative Sites pages of the web site.

Associated with the Consultation Report is a Schedule of Focused Changes that the Council is proposing to make to the Deposit LDP. We are currently consulting on these proposed changes.

These documents are accompanied by an updated Sustainability Appraisal Report, an updated Habitats Regulations Assessment and a number of Supplementary Evidence papers. Other reports and studies referenced in the Main Issues report can be found in the Examination Library.

Full copies of all the representations received in response to  the Deposit LDP and Alternative Sites consultations are being forwarded to the Welsh Government/Planning Inspectorate in order that they can be taken into consideration by the Inspector appointed to carry out the examination into the LDP.
